Happy Halloween! This is coming to you late, because I forgot to put it together before now. Well, better late than never.

Radiohead, "The Numbers"

You know, up until this track came up, I had kind of forgotten that A Moon Shaped Pool existed. I pre-ordered it, and then forgot to listen to it when it arrived. Well, no time like the present! Dig those strings!

(NB: I pulled up a live version, because the studio version seems to be missing.)

Suicide Machines, "Punk Out"

Punk can really just run on enthusiasm and energy and be totally fine. This song is absolutely nothing special, but it cruises along, and is totally enjoyable. I periodically just sometimes need some punk in my life.

Meat Beat Manifesto, "Sound Innovation"

The opener from the sublime Subliminal Sandwich, this really eased you into the experience. The album is really a bit too long and messy, but there's so much good stuff on it.

Negativland, "Introduction"

A fan of the band once tested their commitment to intellectual property laws by just straight up releasing a bootleg concert on CD. The band approved of the release, and as memory serves, the person who released it actually donated some of the proceeds to help with Negativland's (significant) legal bills. So, Negativconcertland was the first concert release from the band, even though it wasn't really released by them. Although as it turns out, listening to Negativland on a live recording isn't really the most thrilling of experiences.

Ugly Duckling, "Bang For The Buck (Remix)"

Shame it's the remix, as the normal track is significantly better. Oh well. Next time, maybe.
