NoFX, "I Wanna Be Your Baby"

A misfire from this record, I just really don't want to hear Fat Mike singing this, you know?

Unsteady, "Breaking Up"

A real treat! Unsteady put up a handful of unreleased tracks onto the web in 2001 or so, and I managed to grab them and hang onto them for forever. They never released a followup to their masterful Double or Nothing, so these four tracks are the only things we have. More than I think anybody else in the third wave, they're the band that I wanted to hear more from. Alas.

Andrew Bird, "Auld Lang Syne"

HARK! is Andrew Bird's holiday album - not fully a Christmas album, as it includes songs like, well, "Auld Lang Syne". As always, I'd listen to Andrew Bird playing literally any song.

El-P, "Tasmanian Pain Coaster"

El-P is teamed up with Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala, better known as the people behind At the Drive-In and the Mars Volta, known for their elaborate and often over-the-top songs. It's a pairing that kind of makes sense to me, as both sides of the collaboration are often pushing the limits of their genres. Anyway, fun song, it works out well.

Palace, "Work Hard/Play Hard"

Will Oldham really cranking it up here! Viva Last Blues is such a delightful album.

I like how I have tags for "Palace", "Palace Music", and "Palace Brothers" here as separate tags like a goof.
