Jello Biafra with the Melvins, "Those Dumb Punk Kids (Will Buy Anything)"

Just a classic punk gallop here from the Melvins, with Jello's warbling shout in fine form. Delightful stuff.

Polyrhythmics, "Cracked Pepper"

Those muted horns coming in at :32, that's just lovely on top of this languid groove. I've said it before, I'll say it agian: we need more horns in music. Gimme some grindcore with a trombone tearing it up. Some hardcore with someone on a trumpet blaring along beside it.

Bordeoms, "Heeba"

It seems like we've had more stuff from UFO Or Die than we have from Boredoms, the main act that Yamatsuka Eye is known for. I could check, and I absolutely am not going to do that. Anyway, Boredoms are chaos personified, just as likely to put out a searing noise track as they are a punk ripper, often in the same song. Just to give a feel for what we're dealing with here, this is actually a cover of "Fever".

Black Grape, "Reverend Black Grape"

This is Shaun Ryder's post-Happy Mondays group, and I'm gonna level with you: I have no idea how I ended up with this. I was never that big on the Happy Mondays, so I'm not sure what I was thinking with this.

Tricky, "Money Greedy"

Got really 90s in here in a hurry, didn't it?
