Foetus, "Clothes Hoist"

Foetus released live albums pretty often, which were usually pretty good. The live show was often more direct and noisier, driven by having a live band making a racket. So it's not just a re-hash of the album tracks, making them good listens if you like Foetus. This is from Boil, and the track is originally from Hole.

Antipop Consortium, "Splinter"

I got totally lost in the rhymes in the first verse.

Dr. Ring-Ding & The Senior Allstars, "Big Man"

It'll never not be funny that this is a German band.

Rage Against the Machine, "Mic Check"

When Rage's first album came out, I was a college idiot who would go on mailing lists and try and make fun of people for listening to them, saying dumb stuff like "Rage Inside the Machine", trying to make hay out of them being on a major label. When you're 17 and think only underground stuff is worth listening to (because you're an idiot), you think this is a really quality burn. Anyway, the upshot is that I didn't really give them an honest try for years, until this album came out. And, turns out, 17yos are still undefeated at being dipshits.

The Creators, "The Coming"

Uh, nice trumpet?
