Propagandhi, "Stick the Fucking Flag Up Your Goddamn Ass, You Sonofabitch"

Preach it, Propagandhi! Used to crank this tune driving around Spokane with the windows down, which was probably less risky in 1995 but not without risk.

The Gabriel Construct, "Ranting Prophet"

This is a progressive metal project led by Gabriel Lucas Riccio with help from a bunch of guest artists, and it's a real trip. I suppose you can tell from this track if you're going to like this thing or not. I admire the ambition of it, certainly.

Ambulance LTD, "Heavy Lifting"

This is from a 2003 self-titled EP, and it's pleasant enough. Kind of shoegaze-y at times, sometimes just big reverbed out pop. I didn't end up getting anything else, though.

Belle & Sebastian, "(I Believe In) Travellin' Light"

A Stevie Jackson song from the I'm a Cuckoo, and I guess we're doing pleasant today. As always, Belle & Sebastian singles are a good time, as they don't just mail in the b-sides, they're usually perfectly good tunes that could have been on the album.

Johnny Socko, "Old School Master"

Y'all wanted a rap song from a third-wave ska act, right?
