Five Songs, 9/28/2017

I don't have a lot to say about today's songs. Sorry about that.

NoFX, "Total Bummer"

Yup, that's a NoFX song. Damn, I have a lot of NoFX albums. I really did enjoy them a lot at one time.

Mr. Lif, "World Renown"

Yeah, that's more like it. Always happy to hear Del the Funky Homosapien show up on something. This is from Lif's comeback album, Don't Look Down, a welcome record to show up. I'll always have room for a guy rhyming "Charybdis".

The Minders, "Black Balloon"

One of these days, I'll remember what I've said about this band so I don't repeat myself. OK, let's see: "weightless, forgettable pop".

The McRackins, "Bittergreen"

I don't really have anything to add to last time these guys came up. Other than the fact that they have 11 albums listed at Allmusic. That's dedication! I have just this one.

DJ /rupture, "The Temple of Hiphop Culture - Up From The Underground / Rotator - Enemy"

Hiphop dissolves into electronic noise, which is the way I like it.

(NB: the youtube video has a different title than my rip, but it's the same song.)
