Black Eyed Peas, "Bringing It Back"

I've already talked about how different pre-Fergie BEP are from the band people know, and I'm not sure I have a second thing to observe about this record. So read that. Or don't! Doesn't matter to me!

Jurassic 5, "What's Golden"

Best tune off their second record, this is just a total banger. If I can recommend it, just listen to this twice and skip the BEP track. Why not?

Sly & the Family Stone, "I Want To Take You Higher"

I typed this initially as "Soy & the Family Stone", and you know what, somebody out there has probably used that name for something, and I hate everything now.

Prefuse 73, "If They Died and They Were Yours"

Extinguished: Outtakes is an outtakes album released after One Word Extinguisher, and honestly, it's easy to see why this stuff didn't really make it. It's not bad, but it's also not super exciting either.

Tricky, "Ponderosa (Dobie's Rub, Part 1)"

This is from a bonus disc included with a deluxe re-issue of Tricky's fantastic debut record, and like most bonus discs, you're really better off just listening to the original album again. I guess I'm recommending that a lot today? This blog is over now, I guess.
