Baroness, "Jake Leg"

The second Baroness record, Blue Record, seems to my ears like it's a more confident album than the first one. Alongside that confidence is a willingness to make things a little prettier. It's a little more prone to doing stuff that soars just a bit more than the previous album.

Pusha T, "Nosetalgia"

Damn, that guitar squeal, so good. And Kendrick coming in on "you wanna see a dead body?" is absolutely incredible.

GosT, "Garruth"

Where was this when I was 15? God, I would have loved it. As it is, it's a fun change of pace, I suppose.

Saun & Starr, "If Only"

Saun & Starr were a duo that put out just this one record on Daptone Records along with a couple of singles. Poking around in Discogs, it looks like at least Saundra Williams is still getting credits, including being in a new band that had a single out on Colemine last year. That's cool!

clipping., "Intro"

As it says on the tin, this is the intro to There Existed an Addiction to Blood, clipping.'s exploration of horror.
